     This armor has been made in honor of Shimazu Yoshihiro of the Shimazu clan who was said to have fought in 52 battles over the course of his life and was an strong and able leader. In 1572, Yoshihiro led 300 men and defeated Itô Yoshisuke's 3,000 in what is sometimes called the "Okehazama of Kyushu". Over the next 10 years he would continue lead and fight with his men in victory after victory until he was named daimyô following the submission of the Shimazu to Hideyoshi in 1587. He led 10,000 men in the First Korean Campaign (1592-93). 

     This fine authentic reproduction of traditional Japanese yokohagi Okegawa ni-mai dô samurai armor is hand made by the Iron Mountain Armory. Each suite of samurai armor can be ordered with the customary Gusto Bitsu (armor storage box) and a wooden stand for the display of the armor. Assembly instructions are also included. The armor is wearable and fully functional. 

     Optional: Free customary black lacquered box which, along with an included wooden frame, provides the support for the display and instructions; just pay the extra shipping.   Available in 3 different quality level sereis: Kachi, Gashira, Taisho.
