     Our Daimyo Takeda Shingen kabuto is not only masterfully crafted and beautifully detailed but also 100% battle ready just like the original battle kabuto worn by Takeda Shingen himself.  This Daimyo quality kabuto (HKM-02) and mask are crafted by the world renowned Iron Mountain Armory. This Battle Helmet is made of red finish metal with brass trim, dragon medallions, decorated with real horse hair and horned dragon spirit head piece. This kabuto is authentically and finely crafted making it a piece of fine functional art. With it's included portable wood display stand it will fit perfectly in your collection of Samurai Armor, or be the great start to a new one.   

     History: Diamyo Takeda Shingen (1521-1573) of Kai Province. Takeda Shingen was a pre-eminent daimyo in Feudal Japan with exceptional military prestige in the late stage of the Sengoku Period.  He was known for his cavalry charge and for his troops, who became known as the Red Army. The Takeda banner stated "fu rin ka zan" (wind, forest, fire, mountain) which stands for "swift as the wind, silent as the forest, intrusive as fire, and immovable as a mountain."

     Features: Made from 18 gauge iron, battle field and museum quality, cotton insert with cloth lining and portable wooden stand. Full authentic construction with cord embellishment on the neck protector and mask. This is one of the most authentic reproduction daimyo / samurai kabuto on the market. Fits adult head size range of 55 to 65 cm.
